How to manage clients and contact records
Create and organise your client records with all tax data ready to be reused on invoices and quotes.
A tidy client list is the foundation of fast invoicing. Entering data once lets you issue invoices and quotes in seconds, without mistakes.
Create a new client
- 1Go to Clients from the side menu and click New client.
- 2Pick whether it's a company or a private person: required fields change accordingly.
- 3Fill in the mandatory data: business name or first/last name, VAT number or tax code, address.
- 4Add the SdI recipient code or PEC (required for electronic invoicing to companies).
- 5Save: the client becomes selectable when creating invoices, quotes and tasks.
Useful optional data
- Contact person and details: email and phone to send documents quickly.
- Default payment terms: due date (30/60/90 days), method and IBAN.
- Internal notes: reminders visible only to you.
By filling in the recipient code or PEC on the client record, every future invoice will be pre-filled without re-entering them.
Search and filter
In the client list you can search by name, VAT number or email. Advanced filters let you see only active clients, those with recent invoices or those with overdue payments.
